Name :: Sigauni
Named after :: A wise old Icelandic mare, friend and advisor to Siga's mother,
whom saw the free spirit inside the young filly
Age :: 8yo
Breed :: Tennessee Walking Horse
Gender :: Mare
Color :: Gray Roan Sabino
Markings :: Sabino
Height :: 16.0hh
Weight :: Approx. 550 kg
Personality :: Siga's... Not entirely typical in her behavior. Sure, she
appreciates good grass as much as any other horse, but she's always out for an
adventure. Little gets her down, be it literally or figuratively. She's learned
a long time ago how to stay on her feet, and though she quites likes to jump obstacles
rather than find a way around them, she's sensible too... Most of the time. Of course,
this handsome lady sometimes does have the tendency to rush into things without
thinking everything through... But she's tough enough to deal with the results,
whatever they are. With a deep-seated hatred for wolves and love for raccoons,
squirrels and frogs, you're seldom bored when around Siga.
Occasionally, she even has a few pearls of wisdom, though she doesn't share them often.
Her age frequently shows: she hasn't seen that much of the world just yet, but she
bears her scars like any other equine around - and the lessons she's learned from them.
She liked to think that one day, she can follow in her mother's hoof prints, but until
then, she's living it up as a single. Enjoy it while it lasts, right? She's good in improvising,
though, and acutely aware of just what strong hindquarters and big hooves can do... Just
in case. Sigauni's not afraid to defend herself.
Mental Stability :: Pretty stable, bit iffy around stallions sometimes
History :: Born to one of the advisors of the lead couple, Siga had it pretty
good her first few years. She had a couple friends with whom she played and fought,
parents who tried to teach her and as soon as she was old enough, even some serious
training.It was good, her life.
Of course, then she grew old enough to become... Interesting. There, things took a turn
for the worse, with a rather possessive stallion claiming her and taking her to his
area, which... Wasn't really what she cared for. Nor for his mean streak if he felt
ignored. Frankly, she didn't feel too sad when he was defeated in a fight and she was
taken even further away from her home. Not to a bad place, though. Here, she started to
grow into herself again, until she found out she was carrying Yagin's foal. This put a
damper on her joy for a while, but when her son was born, she was glad nonetheless. She
taught him what she could before having to let him go, breaking free not long after.
Solitary life was far from perfect, but you did learn a great deal of things, which was
precisely why Sigauni had left. That, and the fact her herd had been decimated by
wolves - including her son.
In the two years since, she's made quite a few of miles. Her mind and body have grown
stronger and lonelier, and it's time to alleviate that itch, find 'civilization'
again... If they look kindly upon a solitary mare who only carries her scars around and
nothing else to show for her life.
Special Talents/Abilites :: Gaited horse; very familiar with herbs
Hopes/Dreams :: Find a nice stallion with a nice land, have a few adventures,
happily grow old
Pet Peeves :; Can't resist trying to play with frogs, squirrels and raccoons;
afraid of wolves; double-tapping the water with a hoof before crossing.
How did you hear of us :: Don't know anymore?
How long have you been Rping? :: Least eight to ten years, I think
